CD launch by the O’Loughlin family

The O’Loughlin’s are a family of musicians from Corofin, Co. Clare. Consisting of Martina on accordion, Brian on flute, Keith on banjo and Conor on the concertina, their music is steeped in the
traditions of North Clare, while also displaying the influences of their various collaborations with musicians from around the globe. They have been involved in a variety of projects, including with the
Shandrum Céilí Band and the National Folk Orchestra of Ireland. They have travelled to play in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia, and perform and teach regularly at festivals all around Ireland.

They are joined on this recording by three of the finest accompanists on the traditional music scene today: Padraic O’Reilly on piano, John Moloney on bodhrán and Marty Barry on guitar.
